Thanks for sharing your thoughts on loss. The quote is powerful and true, perhaps it will help others try to comprehend such a loss.

I agree with your thoughts and appreciate you putting them out there for others to read. I think it can be very helpful to many (i.e. what to do when a friend has a lose and the fact that we do rejoice in friend’s pregnancy). You are awesome Hannah!

I still read it too - check it often actually (except the past few weeks apparently). Life is an adventure, and you guys are never lacking in the mountains and valleys that come with it. It’s been a joy to watch you both grow in your marriage, in your careers, in parenthood, and watching Leah grow into such a sweet and fun little girl. We hope you will keep us posted on how we can be praying for you in the future, and thanks for all the updates on life in the Andrews’ home!

I’d comment but I’m too busy putting my tall black socks on and getting my fanny-pack cleaned out for another long day of sitting on the porch complaining about cars driving to fast, or kids and their crazy haircuts. Well I’m off to Bob Evans it’s almost 2:30pm dinner time!!!

PS - What’s this friendface thing I keep hearing about? Sounds like something the comm-ies would come up with?

I love you Hannah! What a wonderful summary of the past month or two. You have been my best friend over the past 5 years. it has been wonderful, and hopefully we can continue even though we won’t be down the road anymore. I miss you, and for my sake i hope i find someone like you that is “real”. I really appreciate the fact that we can be open and honest with each other with no “fluff” or glossing over of what’s really going on. Thanks for always caring about what’s going on in my life, no matter what stuff is going on in yours. You always think of others. I’d like to be more like that.

I really enjoyed that article too… trying to focus… be mindful of that fact, that each moment is special…. it’s a hard thing to do, but trying to do it makes you focus on it… and so you end up trying harder and focusing more…
